Mad Country Jamboree Tea 2010

WELCOME Y'ALL!!

Join us in our little Mad Jamboree...it's just a little small gathering of family and friends. But there will be lots of love, laughter and GOOD FOOD!!

The table of food (and yes, I took the curtains down from out bedroom and stapled them to the wall of the back porch. My terrify my husband with my industrial staple gun...you know what they say about women and hand tools ~ ( insert evil grin )

MENU:
D&D's Favorite Chicken Nuggets with Ranch Dressing
Corn on the Cob
Homemade Lemonade

DESSERT:
Chocolate Brownies
Purple Cows

Waiting on Mamma to take her "pictures"

"Hurry up Mama, I'm dyin' over here!"

...30 seconds later ...

And this was what was left of the lemonade. As you can tell, it was pretty darn yummy!

Handmade candle holders. I love the stripped one!

Like my utensil caddy?

Oh look who showed up...Holly Hobbie, Raggedy Anne and Vanie Mae! And their escort for the evening, Sock Monkey!

Still eating

Who doesn't love C-O-R-N on the cob?

"Mommmmm....."

Not a scrap was left

Ah, "That was delicious Mamma!"

And what's a Jamboree without a few BUGS?

I think they brought their own food, because I didn't make that!

Would you like to try some?

Time for dessert.
The brownies were gone before I got a picture, but I did get one of the Purple Cows!

Talk about something yummy on a hot afternoon...

Now time to sit and relax

Or wait for some leftovers...

Sasha is always smiling

I looked up into the sky and saw what looked to be rainclouds, but they keep on rolling by.

Dancing the night away ~ to a tune in her head!

We're so glad you stopped by for our little Mad Country Jamboree Tea. Hope you had a lovely time and enjoyed yourselves. And of course we can't forget to thank the Ever-Fabulous Vanessa for hosting this wonderful event! She is the hostess with the mostess.

  26. Hi Kristal !!
You're tea party was amazing , I had a wonderful time, and those chicken nuggets were YUMMY! I love how your tea party wasn't the normal cupcakes and cookies deal.. it had a nice summery spin to it... The corn on the cob , chicken, and lemonade, it looked nice and refreshing! The kiddies look like they had a lot of fun, and i think it was just adorable how the bugs showed up with their own food !! And that dessert ... oh don't even get me started on that dessert ! Great job on everything... Also thanks for stopping by my party as well ! The Hatter and I hope you decide to stop by again soon !

  27. Best tea party EVER! I thank you for coming to mine and inviting me here! The corn hasn't ripened enough to buy it locally up here in NY (and it never tastes as good if it's not) so just looking at your pictures makes me crave it! I can't wait for later in the summer!
